Tyrone comes from Illinois and at some point of his life he moved to Madison as an exchange student of Wallace University.

Tyrone is a student at Wallace, whom Maeve meets during the course. He attends Molloy's literature classes and is a very supportive and caring friend of Maeve's, who is always there for her whenever she needs him.

Maeve is Tyorne's friend. The two are very close and spend a lot of time together, as Ellen and Chris are hooking up all the time. Maeve and Tyrone's close friendship was the reason of Otis' jealousy, who didn't know that Tyrone was gay. Tyrone was also the one who comforted Meave when she got sad after Ellen got the internship at Molloy's that she wanted to get.
