The Untouchables was a group that comprised some of the most popular students at Moordale Secondary School, who were considered to have a higher "social status", due to being from rich families. The group consisted of Ruby Matthews, Olivia Hanan and Anwar Bakshi. At the end of the first season, Aimee Gibbs decided to leave the group in favor of hanging out with Maeve.

They were known for bullying other students, especially if they considered them to be "unpopular".

History[]

'The Untouchables' clique was founded by Ruby Matthews, Olivia Hanan and Anwar Bakshi. The trio met shortly after starting their education at Moordale Secondary and quickly became friends, due to the fact that all of them came from rich families and had a reluctance to poorer and unpopular students, like Maeve Wiley, the group's biggest enemy. With time, students of Moordale Secondary started to call Ruby, Olivia and Anwar's group 'The Untouchables'; as some of them were looking up to them and their high social status, and rest was more making fun of them and their high self-confidence. Despite that, some time later, the group was joined by Aimee Gibbs, who, like the rest of the Untouchables, came from a wealthy family.

Despite being friends, Ruby often mocks Olivia due to her unoriginal cosmetics and makes her feel uncomfortable about herself. That's why Olivia decides to share the photo of Ruby's unshaved vagina, wanting to embarrass her in front of the whole school. After Ruby found out Olivia was the one who leaked the photo, she stopped talking to Olivia, until the school's plea, where exceptionally Ruby was verbally bullied by other students. This situation made Olivia regret the thing she has done to her best friend and then she decides to stand up for Ruby and say that the vagina from the photo was hers. The two eventually make up.

Despite Aimee being an official member of the clique, Ruby, Olivia and Anwar spend the first season on making her extremely uncomfortable with herself, as they were often criticizing her or were gate-crashing into her house without her permission. After Maeve gets expelled from Moordale Secondary, the Untouchables are making fun of her, which is disliked by Aimee, which eventually causes her to leave the group in the season 1 finale in order to hang out with Maeve. This deeply shocks the Untouchables as they didn't expect Aimee to make such a move, and what's worse dump them for Maeve. In the end, it made Aimee another target of their harassing.

Without Aimee in the group, the Untouchables look at her just like at other unpopular students, with condemnation. After the three meet Maeve at the school corridor, who's trying to get back to school, they can't stop themselves from laughing at her and her job at the pretzel store. In season 2, Ruby has a crush on a new student, Rahim, with whom she tries to bond. Ruby and Anwar went to a fun fair, so Ruby can make another move on Rahim. There, she ignored Anwar's objections to get on the Ferris wheel as it would ruin his hair because she wanted to get closer to Rahim. Later, the Untouchables also come to Otis' house party, after Ruby and Olivia were invited to it by Eric and Rahim. They only go there because of Rahim, whom Ruby finally wanted to get, ineptly, as at the party Ruby finds out that Rahim is gay. Despite that, the three seem to enjoy the party, especially when drunk Otis calls Maeve names and insults her.

In new term, when everyone finds out about Ruby and Otis' affair, Olivia and Anwar are embarrassed and shocked about Otis having casual sex, and then actually being a couple with Ruby, but with time they partially accepted her choice, and tried to be happy for her, but of course, still being rude to Otis. After the SRE class in episode 3.4, Anwar is frightened about a strange thing that appeared on his face, and tells Ruby and Olivia that he may die, which totally freaks them out, but later, after a small talk with Emily Sands they decide to visit a sex specialist, where he finds out that he's just allergic to strawberry-flavoured condoms, and the bubble is going to disappear soon. In the last minutes of the same episode, Ruby breaks up with Otis and decides to invite Anwar and Olivia over for the first time ever. As soon as they arrived, they walked in to Ruby's room, sitting next to her from both sides, and then sharing a mutual hug, showing that in spite of being rude to others, they really care about each other and stick together really closely. During the trip to France, in episode 3.5, Anwar sits behind Ruby and Olivia on the bus, talking to them, and sometimes still comforting Ruby after being heartbroken. Ruby and Olivia are sitting beside each other, doing a lot of things in the same moment: doing nails/make-up or later, coming back to Moordale, putting eye sleeping masks. In episode 3.7, after Moordale students start to riot against Hope, Ruby and Anwar are seen walking in the assembly hall, being shocked about the look of the place and a count of medias there.

After the closure of Moordale Secondary, Olivia and Anwar decided to continue their education at Taylor's Secondary School, whereas Ruby started attending Cavendish College; Olivia and Anwar made lots of new friends at their new school and didn't have time to hang out with Ruby anymore, which led to losing touch with her. Despite this Ruby remained having fondness towards them and hanged a photo of them on the mirror in her room.

In episode 3.4, after Ruby breaks up with Otis, she invites Olivia and Anwar over for the first time ever.
Despite the fact that The Untouchables in seasons 1-3 consisted of Ruby, Olivia and Anwar, there are many scenes, where there's only Ruby and Anwar, which could mean that their friendship is stronger and more powerful than this with Olivia: there are scenes where Ruby walks down the school corridor with Anwar only, they were hanging out without Olivia very often, and in episode 3.7, when students started to riot against Hope, there's no Olivia near them.
The Untouchables were seen for the last time in episode 3.5, after coming back from France.

Copycats of The Untouchables
In episode 3.8, three students sitting on the bench in front of Moordale Secondary were seen copying The Untouchables. One girl who had long brown hair like Ruby was looking in the mirror, another girl who had wavy brown hair like Olivia was eating a lollipop, and a guy with short brown hair looked just like Anwar.
The Untouchables can't be seen at lame parties.
They only drink Coke Zero.
