Sarah is one of the minor characters in Sex Education. She is portrayed by Lu Corfield.
She is a mother of three children who comforts and befriends Maeve during and after her procedure at an abortion clinic.

Season 1[]
Sarah is a regular client of the abortion clinic, as in episode 3 she comes there for another abortion procedure. There, she meets Maeve, who's having an abortion at the sime time as her. While Sarah tries to start a chat with Maeve, she is rather annoyed and on edge with Sarah's loud behavior. Eventually, Maeve tells her that all of the people in the waiting room would appreciate a bit of quiet.
Despite that, some minutes before the procedure, Sarah's trying to cheer Maeve and another woman up, wanting to make them feel less guilty. After the abortion, Sarah gets a vanilla mousse, which makes her mad, as she doesn't like vanilla. This makes Maeve to give Sarah a chocolate one, her favorite. Sarah's grateful to Maeve and cheers her up, as she sees Maeve's confused facial expression.

Maeve is a girl Sarah met in the abortion clinic. The two had abortion on the same day. Sarah was the one who was comforting Maeve before, during, and after the whole abortion procedure, convincing Maeve that despite having a couple of abortions, she feels way more guilty about the kids she decided to have, as she perceives herself as a bad mother. Despite that at first, Maeve felt annoyed by Sarah's loud and straight-forward behavior, she eventually befriended with Sarah, whom she started to perceive as strong and brave person.
When Maeve's leaving the clinic, she sees Sarah hugging with her daughter. Sarah also notices Maeve; she smiles and winks at her.
