Roman is one of the recurring characters in Sex Education. He is portrayed by Felix Mufti.
Roman belongs to The Coven, which is a counterpart of The Untouchables clique at Cavendish College, except they are more nice and open-minded. He's currently in a relationship with Abbi Montgomery, and they're considered to be the It Couple at their school.

Roman is a transgender man, who comes from a rather rich and progressive family. At some point in his life, his family helped him to pay large costs for his gender-affirming surgery. They also agreed to take his girlfriend, Abbi, under their roof, after she was kicked out due to coming out as a transgender woman.

Roman is one of the most popular students at Cavendish College, who, despite this, is still very nice towards others. He's dating Abbi, with whom he and Aisha form the Coven.

Abbi is Roman's girlfriend. The two live at his house, as Abbi was kicked out of her family house after she came out as a transgender woman. The two truly love each other and don't argue very often.

Aisha is Roman's friend and a fellow member of the Coven. The two probably met after starting their education at Cavendish, and some time later alongside Abbi, created their friend group. They often hang out.
Eric Effiong (friend)[]
Eric is Roman's friend and a fellow member of the Coven. The two met after Eric started attending Cavendish College and Roman, Abbi and Aisha were extremely nice towards him and let him into their group.
Cal Bowman (friend)[]
Cal is Roman's friend, whom he met via Aisha. Cal is asking Roman about his top surgery, as he's the only person who had it that they know.
