Rachel Hope Health Centre is a location on the Netflix series Sex Education. It is sexual health clinic located in Moordale, where Maeve got her abortion and where Moordale students got health advice. It is located on level one of the Broughton Arcade.
History[]
In episode 3, Maeve went to the clinic to get an abortion. Outside the abortion clinic were Charlie and his girlfriend, two pro-life protestors who tried to convince people not to get an abortion. They used to date.
During Maeve's consultation, she learned that their policy required patients to be picked up by someone after an abortion. Maeve asked Otis to meet her at the clinic, without telling him the real reason, leading him to believe that it was a date and he showed up in a suit.
In episode 3.4, Olivia, Anwar and Ruby visited the clinic after hearing Miss Sands' advice. Olivia was told that the pull-out method could lead to unwanted pregnacy and transmission of an STI. Anwar talked to the doctor about the possibility of contracting HIV, and learned that his swelling was caused by an allergy. In the waiting room, Ruby talked to Olivia and Anwar about Otis not loving her. She ended up leaving without speaking to the doctor.
