Owen is one of the recurring characters in Sex Education. He is portrayed by Roman Hayeck-Green.
He was one of the members of The Acapella Group.
Throughout the Series[]
Season 2[]
In episode 2.1, he appears as a member of the local band The Acapella Group, when Gwen and Martha intimidate Fiona on the stage.
Later, he overhears Otis and Eric talking about Otis's erection issues in the school toilet. He gets from the cabin and states that he felt unreally awkward when listening to them, promising not to tell it to anyone. Owen also states that he was just crying alone, not doing his deeds. Eric shows sympathy for the guy and gets his way.
When the school is alarmed and girls begin to bully Fiona again, Eric reveals Owen to be the one who suffered from chlamydia and slept with the girls from Acapella. When Otis is on restoration, Eric brings Owen to talk. Owen apologizes for overhearing them and says that he was already healed from chlamydia, and the reason of his weeping in the toilet was that he felt guilty about being the one who infected the girls but didn't tell the truth foremost. Otis tells him that it's not a shame to have a venereal sickness and encourages him open up about it. Owen also suggests Otis to openly discuss his masturbation addiction with Ola.
In the ending, it's revealed that the acapella group gets along well again.
Season 3[]
Owen takes part in the sex-promo video, which was screened during the open day in episdoe 3.7. The video was made by the students of Moordale Secondary, wanting to stop Hope from creating a sex-free campus as a replacement of well-known sex school.
