Otis Milburn & Ola Nyman is a relationship on the Netflix series Sex Education. It started in season 1, and in the end of the second season, the romantic relationship between them was transformed into friendship.
History[]
Season 1[]
Otis and Ola met thanks to Jakob's frequent visits at Milburn residence. During one of his visits there, Ola (who was driving him home) went into house, wanting to use a bathroom. When she gets upstairs, she misleaded the doors and instead of bathroom, she accidentaly walked in Otis' room, seeing him watching porn. But with time they became friends, and then started dating, not knowing that Jakob and Jean are doing the same. Their first kiss took place in episode 8, in front of Milburn House, which was witnessed by Maeve, who came there to tell Otis about her feelings to him.
Season 2[]
The influence of their relationship was huge for Otis that he started masturbating all the time, and couldn't stop doing that. Throughout first episodes of the second season, Ola and Otis were preparing for their first time. Unfortunately, the good connection between them did not find an equivalent in their sex life, as Otis was unable to please Ola while fingering during their first sexual experience together, what caused Ola avoiding him. Fact that Maeve was still present in Otis' life did not fix things, especially when Ola realised that Otis is not in love with her, he's still not over Maeve at all and finally, when Nyman realised that she does not love him either, she found out that she has feelings for her friend - Lily Iglehart and is pansexual. In episode 2.5 Ola breaks up with Otis, which makes him mad. Although their relationship after that was tense for a while, especially after drunk Otis insulted Ola during a party, they were able to repair things and befriends.
Season 3[]
Due to new family situation, they're supposed to live like half-siblings. Even though they were arguing very often and were mean to each other, with time they understood their bads. In the end of the third season, Otis (out of Ola's ask), talks with Ola's girlfriend - Lily, comforting and supporting her after she got ashamed in front of whole school by Hope. In the season finale, Otis and Ola worry about Jean, who got some health problems after the childbirth, but everything ends up good.
