In episode 3.7, Jean visited Moordale Community Hospital. She felt that her doctor was being misogynistic and made a complaint.
In episode 3.8, Jean gave birth to Joy at Moordale Community Hospital. After giving birth, she haemorrhaged and needed surgery. Otis became distraught in the hospital waiting room and broke down. He was comforted by Eric.
Hope was struggling to conceive and her doctor refused to give her anothe round of IVF. Otis gave Hope some advice.
