This is a list of Jean's clients. Jean is a sex and relationship therapist who hosts therapy sessions and workshops at her house.
Season 1[]
Marjorie and her partner[]
Marjorie and her partner in therapy
Marjorie and her partner visit Jean in Episode 1 because Marjorie's partner would like her to wear a strap on, but she doesn't want to. According to Otis, it is an issue of power dynamic.
Clara and Tim[]
Clara and Tim in therapy
Clara and Tim visit Jean in Episode 2 because Clara believes Tim doesn't want to have sex with her, which she is upset about. As they leave, Tim is angry with Clara for "airing [their] dirty underpants", implying that visiting Jean was Clara's idea. During their session, Otis eavesdrops through the air vent and takes notes, in preparation for becoming a sex therapist at school.
In Episode 2.1, it is revealed that Tim told Clara that he enjoys the dog's company more than her, which upsets Clara. He explains that their dog is really quiet.
Unnamed kegel workshop clients[]
Jean runs a kegel workshop, during which one of her clients walks outside and bumps into Otis. She congratulates Otis on his emission, which annoys him.[1]
Season 2[]
Maureen Groff[]
Maureen visits Jean to discuss her marital issues with Michael. She tells Jean that Michael hasn't touched her in 6 years. When Michael sees Maureen entering her room, he attempts to eavesdrop and notices that Jean is writing down notes. Maureen also attends one of Jean's workshops.
At home, Maureen tries to initiate something romantic with Michael, but he is disinterested. She ends up asking for a divorce and Michael moves out.
Maureen and Jean become friends and dance together at a party.
Michael is angry, believing that Jean led to his wife asking for a divorce. He steals Jean's notebook from Otis' locker. He rips out the pages about Maureen, photocopies the notes and puts them up all over campus.
Malek Amir[]
Malek visits Jean to ask about his girlfriend, who often covers his face with a pillow during sex. Jean believes that it is a ghost fetish and writes down in her notes that the students wish to learn about fetish in their SRE classes. As a result, Malek confronts Olivia, who is shocked.
Later, when Jean's notes are put up all over campus, Olivia and Malek's parents are horrified to find out about their relationship, especially since Malek lied about his age. He claimed to be 16, however, he is actually 15 and below the age of consent. Olivia's parents are also unhappy about her daughter being with an Iranian.
Connor Pearson[]
Connor tells Jean that he masturbates up to 17 times a day. Jean reassures him that this is normal, but when Jean's notes are put up over the campus, he is disappointed to learn Jean noted that his behaviour is abnormal.

In episode 2.6, Ola visits Jean.
Season 3[]
Aimee Gibbs[]
Aimee visits Jean
Aimee visits Jean to help her overcome her PTSD symptoms after being sexually assaulted by a man on a bus. During their first session, Aimee brings Goat. Jean tries to make Aimee feel as comfortable as possible.
In later sessions, they talk about Aimee's feelings about her fight with Maeve, revealing Otis and Maeve's relationship to Jean.
Michael Groff[]
Michael visits Jean to return her red notebook, which he stole in an earlier season. He apologises for his behaviour and talks to Jean about his childhood. He tells Jean about being bullied by his father and brother as a child, and the positive memories he has of his mother cooking.
Jean encourages Michael to find something that he enjoys, so he discovers his interest in cooking. He even brings a bowl of salad that he made to his brother's dinner party.
