At the school dance, in episode 7, Liam agrees to buy and take drugs from Sean Wiley. The drugs encourage Liam to hang from the moon decoration to confess his love for Lizzie. However, Lizzie declines his confession and Liam contemplates suicide. Otis Milburn convinces Liam that suicide is not the answer.
