Jonathan was Cynthia and Jeffrey Jenkins' cat, who lived with them in their caravan. He was especially loved by Cynthia, who teated Jonathan like her real son as she couldn't have her own children. Sadly, in season 3 Jonathan died, crushed by a microwave.

Season 1[]
Cynthia is often seen carrying Jonathan around like a child. She likes to put bonnets on his head.
In episode 2, while Maeve was playing loud music, Cynthia went over to Maeve's caravan with Jonathan to tell Maeve that Jonathan is sensitive to loud noise and ask her to pay rent.
Season 2[]
In episode 2.6, when Maeve dropped off Elsie at Cynthia's caravan, Cynthia was holding Jonathan. Maeve thanked Cynthia for agreeing to look after Elsie and Cynthia told Maeve that Jonathan had always wanted a sibling.
Season 3[]
In Episode 3.3, while Cynthia and Jeffrey are having sex, their movement causes their microwave to come loose and fall on Jonathan, thus killing him.
Jonathan was a son to Cynthia because Jeffrey said they could never have a baby. Cynthia decided to have repetitive sex with Jeffrey to stop the pain from her cat's death.
