Eric's Grandmother House is a location on the Netflix series Sex Education. It is the home of Eric's mother Beatrice and rest of his maternal family located in Lagos, Nigeria.
History[]
In October 2021, Eric and the rest of his family visit their grandma in Nigeria for their cousin's upcoming wedding.
The day after they arrived, the whole family's having breakfast together, during which Beatrice showers her mother and sister with gifts from Abeo. Later, Beryl informs Beatrice that her ex-fiancé, Emeka will be present at the wedding, which makes Eric curious. Later, when everyone's getting ready for the wedding, Eric's looking at himself in the mirror in the guest room and is walked up to by his mother, with whom he starts talking about the mysterious Emeka guy.
After the wedding, Eric comes back home early in the morning, meeting Beatrice waiting for him in the kitchen. The two are having emotional talk, during which Beatrice convinces that she'd like to be as brave as Eric, when it comes to being proud of who you are. On the same day, Eric and his family are going back to England, saying goodbye to their grandma.
