Beau is one of the recurring characters in Sex Education. He is portrayed by Reda Elazouar.

Nothing is really known about Beau throughout the series, other than that he attends Cavendish College along with some of the former Moordale students.

Season 4[]
At first, Beau displays a pretty normal behaviour and could actually pass as somebody who’s down to earth and friendly. But throughout season 4, he develops a closer relationship with Vivienne Odusanya and eventually they start dating. However as time grows, Vivienne starts to notice Beau’s overprotective behaviour and soon Jackson becomes aware of this and even warns Viv about his odd behaviour calling him weird. Eventually on exam day, when Viv was seen talking to another classmate before the exam, Beau saw this and approached her. But when Viv dismisses this as just an exam related thing, Beau does not and proceeds to grab her forcefully and make her uncomfortable leading to Viv feeling a bit disturbed.
Eventually Viv breaks up with Beau after realizing the type of person he is and of the abusive and overprotective nature that he possesses.

Vivienne Odusanya (ex-girlfriend)[]
Beau is Viv's new boyfriend in season 4. They meet in maths class, when Beau offers to take notes for her when Viv's tablet breaks down. Viv tries to resist to concentrate on her studies, but in the end she gives in. Beau is intensely jealous, especially of Jackson, who is good friends with Viv. He becomes ever more impatient and starts displaying seriously worrying behaviour, like checking her phone when she isn't watching, grabbing her wrist and hurting her in a fit of anger and continuously asking questions out of jealousy. In the end Viv, breaks up with him over text and when he comes to try and get her back, she clearly draws the line. He then leaves her alone.

Beau has a good relationship with his father. The two talk a lot and Beau tells him everything going on in his life. His father had a stroke and since then, couldn't speak well.

Dave (friend)[]
Dave is Beau's friend. Dave goes to Viv's house with Beau to study, leaving shortly after he noticed there was something going on between them.

At first, Jackson liked Beau and insisted on Viv to give him a chance. Everything changed after Beau started being jealous of Viv all the time, especially after Beau threatened Viv. Later, Jackson's also one of the people who tell Viv to break up with Beau, which she eventually does in the finale.

Beau is an overprotective, abusive and rude individual who does not let anyone get in the way of any relationship he develops with a girl.
