Season 2[]
Adam and Ola met in episode 2.4, Ola where comes to the store to buy a packet of condoms, as she need them for the meeting with Otis, during which the two are supposed to have their first time. Adam stands at the counter. The two turn out to be colleagues.
Another day at work, Adam and Ola have a shift together. Ola tells Adam about the dream she had; a sex dream about her friend, Lily. Ola starts to think that she's lesbian, asking Adam if he had ever had a sex dream about a guy. Adam replies that he didn't dream, because he'd smoked too much weed. Ola takes a test on a Internet, which tells her that she's pansexual. Adam says 'like fucking pots and pans?', and then tells Ola he knew a guy who used to stick his dick in the suction pipe of a vacuum cleaner.
After the party at Otis', during which Adam is pushed away by Eric, and Ola is insulted by Otis, Adam spends rest of the evening laying under a tree in front of Milburn house, until the moment Ola throws her shoe at him, after being annoyed by Otis. Adam asks Ola if she want to go and smash some stuff. Ola agrees and they go to the junkyard, where they're able to let their pain out.
In episode 2.8, Adam goes to the store to get his job back, after he was sacked by Yousef. Ola walks in, coming for her paycheck. She finds out about Adam's situation and stands up for him. She tells Yousef that the last time she used the key it didn't work properly either, so it was her fault that the robberies got into the store, and if he fires Adam, he should fire her too. Angry boss fires them both. After leaving the store, Adam asks Ola why she'd done it. Then, Ola calls Adam her friend and tells him she loved him. Adam hugs her, because no one had ever said Adam had been their friend before.
Season 3[]
After his first fight with Eric, Adam's in his room, when suddenly Ola comes in, who visits him to talk to him about what happened. Adam offers her going and smashing some stuff, but Ola suggests talking istead. Adam tells Ola he was not good at talking and Ola starts to tell Adam how she dealt with her mother's death, realizing Adam that talking is the only thing that can help fix problems. Adam tells Ola that he didn't want people to think he's a pussy, after what Ola tells him it's normal for men to date men and that men don't need to hit things. Ola also tells Adam he needed to tell Eric how he fell, but then, Adam wanted to do punching pillow thing first. The next day, Adam listens to Ola's words and decides to talk to Eric.
Later, it's revealed that Adam told Ola about Otis and Ruby hooking up.
During double date with Otis and Ruby, Adam and Otis start talking about Otis and Ola's new home situation. Adam helps Otis realize that Ola finds the situation hard too, especially that she still misses her mum. This turns out to be very helpful for Otis, who changes his behavior towards Ola.
In episode 3.7, both of them are present during ''The Thing'', sitting beside each other at the beginning, and later, when the students are taking over, they dance together.
